Windows activation failed?
Problem phenomenon
Received the newly opened MiniPC, but failed to activate Windows online. Click on the Windows icon, View in Settings>System>Activation. An error message is found as shown in the following figure. We can’t activate Windows on this device xxx.
Reason for the problem
For the newly opened MiniPC, Windows activation is automatically activated through networking, but it relies on many objective factors such as network speed, broadband, Microsoft servers, and so on.
Solution
1. Please ensure that the network is unobstructed during network activation. If this problem is found, you can try changing the network and Click on the troubleshoot button on this problem phenomenon page to try fixing it.
2. Please ensure that the system date and time are correct. If the date and time are incorrect, you can first go to Settings ->Time&Language ->Date&Time, and click Sync now to synchronize the time.Then return to the activation page and Click on the troubleshoot button to try fixing it.
3. Restart the computer and wait to observe the activation status.
4. Give the connected MiniPC one or two days of buffer time.
5. Use the command to query the 25 bit key information and manually activate it.
The steps to manually activate the system are as follows:
①.Enter "Windows PowerShell" in the search bar of the taskbar and select Run as administrator.
②.Enter wmic path SoftwareLicensingService get OA3xOriginalProductKey in the administrator window and press Enter. Then you can see the product key in the format XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX- XXXXX-XXXXX.
③.Click on the Windows icon and enter Settings>System>Activation>Change. Enter the product key you previously saw in the administrator window in the input box, then click next and follow the prompts to complete the activation.
6. If the above methods still fail to activate the system, please contact MeLE customer service and provide License ID/Product Key and error code that cannot be activated.
